PLEASE help i need advice on my dad.... hes really depressed because his mom died and his wife left him?

okay... my dad has been having a tough life lately, my grandmom, ped from lung cancer, and a month later (today) his wife, my stepmom, left him bc she is an alcoholic after 5 years of marriage. now he is a very strong person. he is not going to harm anyone or himself but i fear for him because he has absolutely no one because his life was gone within a month. i live 2 min from him and want to stay with him and support him because i am the only one he has left. he tells me no and not to, but if i keep begging him he will let me i know him like that. i feel really bad because right before this all happened i starded drifting further from him in means of ...i rarely spoke to him at all...and now i feel terrible. any suggestions on what i should for him or anything at all? please help. thanks.
