Has anyone watched that show The Middle, is it just a rip off of Malcolm in the Middle or is it any good?

I too watched Malcolm in the Middle and loved it. I also like The Middle. It's like Malcolm in the Middle with the family's money problems and the kids are weird in different ways. And yes the little boy seems just like Dewey. He is a short, intelligent and weird boy. I like it so I bet you would to.
