Serious guy help!!!!!!!!!!!?

okay so there's this guy that I've liked for about three years now, but he doesn't know that I like him. so he's a really big show off, a mive jerk, and has a double faced personality. when were alone he's not AS show-offy(he still is) but he's sweet and has a soft side. but when he's at school or around other friends he completely ignores me and sometimes talks to me but I feel rejected most of the time. he is always liking this one girl that has hurt him multiple times, and I'm good friends with her. when she was dating him he stopped talking to her and was bring a real jerk and stuff. we were going thru some tough times at school because my former friend group was getting really jerky so I left them and joined my current friend group and I wouldn't have it any other way but he former friends got really mad and stuff and we really didn't need him in the way. she broke up with him because she thought they were better as friends, which they are. so he got really mad and stopped talking to me because I was in "her" group. he started calling me and my other friends "puppies" because we "follow" his ex around which we don't. anyway he's a real jerk and somehow I'm still in love with him. I don't want to be AT ALL but I can't help it. he's started ha gong around with my former friend group (they r all in "love" with him) and it's really getting on my nerves, but every time I try to talk to him he either walks away or signs off. I'm hopelessl in love with the same person I hate. HELP
