Is this a true statement?

If it any help I think you're right on point.I was in the military stationed in france in the 50ty's.We were a first strike force against the Soviet Union. It was a containment. Bush's approach was just as you said. The problem is he couldn't distinguish the different between contain and destroy. We had Iraq contained against any movement towards Kuwait or Saudi Arabia and he elected to invade Iraq. The WMD's were just an excuse to go in.Every war,in modern times, we have ever been in with the exception of ww 2 was created or started by some contrived incident.Korean war -the domino effect.Vietnam-the token incident, etc. It doesn't have to be justifiable,it just have to sound patriotic.Obama's approach is to focus on the part of the world that he thinks will destroy democracy in any part of the world if not contained. He also feels that we have Iraq on their feet and it time for them to take over or fail.Bush handed him this mess and he would like to bring all the troops home and concentrate on domestic problems.Unfortunately the american people want resolution on 9/11.If killing is some kind of resolve,we've done that.100,000 Iraq's have died.Over 8000 americans. When will it end?
